Thoughtventions Unlimited, LLC is a world leader in custom high pressure, high temperature, high vacuum and low temperature viewports.

Until now sapphire viewports have been very expensive. As a result of long experience in custom viewports, Thoughtventions has developed proprietary bonding and sealing techniques that lower the cost and simplify the use of sapphire viewports.

As an initial standard commercial offering, a KF-50 sapphire vacuum viewport offers an affordable, quick-fitting sapphire aperture of high optical quality at a slight premium over available borosilicate viewports.

Other sizes will be available in the future.

Cautions for Vacuum Viewports

• Viewports are NOT rated for internal pressure
• Viewports are fragile and must be handled and mounted with caution
• NEVER use a viewport that has been damaged
• Never scratch the window; a damaged window will probably break
• A damaged viewport may implode, causing severe damage to the vacuum pump
