Quartz Windows

We can supply you with the quartz windows that you need. Quartz has a low tensile strength, but is excellent for tolerating thermal shock due to its very low coefficient of thermal expansion.

The fixture for the quartz window is critical; the quartz must be padded to tolerate the thermal expansion of the parts surrounding it. When a quartz window breaks it is usually due to faulty support design.
